We reinterpreted the adage ‘Black don’t crack.’
Seize the Awkward is on a mission to normalize mental health conversations among teens. So we sought the help of a queen who has been on her own wellness journey: Megan Thee Stallion. Over the past few years, Megan has opened up about her struggles with anxiety, rewriting the narrative that Black women always have to be strong. With director Ewurakua Dawson, we made a film to show how masking vulnerability can make even the toughest person crack.
